Cancellation policy for all hotels below All amendments and cancellations of accommodation bookings must be made in writing directly to the conference managers. The cancellation of any booking received 31-60 days prior to your check in date, may incur a charge of one night’s accommodation at the discretion of the hotel provider. If applied, this will be charged to the credit card used to secure the booking. Coronavirus (Covid-19): In the event of Coronavirus related travel restrictions being implemented whereby travel is not permitted please see the following hotel cancellation polices: James Cook Hotel - In the event the conference is unable to proceed due to covid19 or an alert level change whereby travel is not permitted cancellations must be made in writing ASAP to the hotel. The hotel will work with guests to come to an arrangement that best suits each party, any fees will be at the hotel’s discretion. If the ban comes in during the stay the hotel will charge for the days the guest has stayed. Ibis/Novotel - Should the New Zealand Government implement travel restrictions that impact the ability to travel to Wellington (By way of Government Alert Levels 2, 3 and 4), the booking will go into a term amendment discussion with the General Manager.
